...not bad.
Ok, first things first- the blog in itself and why you're here. You will not be reading about amazing 5 inch killer stilettos (we have blogs for that ;) ), nor will you be stumbling across images of beautifully designed homes that are nestled somewhere in the Maldives that include a nine car garage with a lift which brings an automobile from garage to living room to be showcased> True story via some fancy blog by the name of Design Boom. *shrugs*
No folks, you are here for another reason that by far TRUMPS all of the above mentioned. You are here because I have news/updates on our favorite little seed: PABLITO! Ok, that's not his (or hers) name but it's catching on and we will use that in place of the actual name-which at the moment is... undecided. Back story you ask? You see, my lovely Jerry thought that "Pablito" would be the perfect nickname until we find out the sex of our little one and of course he sought out the most Spanish one of them all. Oh, and apparently the "ito" at the end gives it more of a "Mexican" ring. So, yes...everyone now refers to my child as Pablito. The girl abides...and so it is.
I thought pablitoinmytummy was a great way to keep those that i love in the loop. Those that may live out of town, those that i may not see as often as I'd like and those that i may not even speak to as often as I'd like (yes- texting and Facebook has made be a very lazy friend.) But more importantly, i thought that this would be a great way for me to remember my pregnancy and the beautiful gift of motherhood that I've been given. Often times, moments in my life have a tendency to zoom right past me- with no pictures to capture the beautiful time or words to sum it up. And, I'm left scratching my head... "Did that really happen?" So, i want to take the time and be still in this moment. Revel in it. Embrace it. and APPRECIATE this gift from god.
You're more than welcome to exit out if you've consumed too much Pablito talk or are over the fact that I woke up feeling a bit more tired that usual-much easier than just leaving the room or abruptly ending a phone conversation with me don't you think? You seeeeeee! This is a great idea!
If you're reading this and have been given the blog spot address- know that i love you and am so happy that you're in my life during this surreal time. :)
Oh, and if you WOULD like to be inspired by anything utterly awesome- go to my baby's blog:
